Germany without problems
On the third tournament day it was the two strongest teams with both two wins and already qualified for the final to face each other. Both teams started with pressure on the oppaonents defense. NED started better, holding the ball in the GER half. But GER defense standig secure was not allowing dangerous scenes in the own circle. In the 12th minute the first chance for GER, as a NED defender missed a long flick, giving Marco MILTKAU a shot, which missed the goal. From this moment on, GER began to take control of the game. In the 19th minute the first penalty corner for GER. Chris DOLGES flick was saved by the NED keeper schten netten. IN the 22th minute the first goal of the match. FABIAN ELSHOLTZ scored with a strong shot from the left side. In the following minutes it was GER to have additional chances. The biggest one for MARCO MILTKAU in the 32th, as his shot was saved after a great pass from FELIX MEYER. But only one minute later it was the same player to score for GER. Half time 2:0 for germany.
The GER continued ther gameplay in the second half, controlling game and opponent. in the 44th minute again MARCO MITKAU, scoring the third GER goal. Then NED earned the first penalty corner. PHILIP THIADENS flick was saved by the GER keeper. Minutes later WOUTER BRASEM was unlucky when he missed the goal after winning the one-on-one with the german keeper. This was the last chance of the game for NED. In the 48th minute another goal for GER by Felix Meyer. The completion of the game then by MARCUS FUNKEN. He score subsequent to a penalty corner the fith german goal. Very googd game by the GER team winninng 5:0. But tomorrow NED has the chance to change everything, as both teams are challenging in the U16 final.
