Netherlands reach final undefeated
The second match on third dayof the 4-nations-tournament in Nuermberg becomes visited by a lot of visitors from Netherland and Germany. The first actions of Germany showed, that they wanted to revenche for the two discomfitures in the beginning. Nice attacks over the right wing didn t bring the 1:0 for Germany. A penalty corner in 4. minute disembarkes on the dutch post. After 10 minutes the german team backed away in a incomprehenible way and makes the Dutchmens possible, to start first dangerous attacks. In the 13 th minute german strikers invaded the circle and got their third pealty corner. Fabian Bauwens-Adenauer could scored after potshot to the 0:1. After that surprising leadership the Germans increased the pressure. In the middle of the first half dutch striker Jan Willem Buissant surfaced abruptly in front of the german goal and scored to 1:1 unsaveable with an argentinian backhand. In the middlefield of GER now mor mistakes heaped and the german defence could disarmed some hard shoots with a good reactions. After a next mistakes of the german team Wouter Rems lifted up to 2:1. After that the first dutch penalty corner could be interrupted by the germans.
In the second half the match began with a lot of good chances on both sides. Both goalkeeper are very busy. After a short time the Netherland builted up more pressure. The weather becamed very stormy. By the time the German could not get out of their own quarterline. Big pressure from Netherland, Germany rarly wined free from this cutting in. Again and again the Dutchmen develoded chances. In the 53 rd minute could make Bob de Voogd the 4:1. Every time the German ran in dangerous counter-offensive of the Dutchmen, which often failed. In the last minutes Holland admited chances of GER. Germany got two penalty-corners at that time. After a good cornervariation Julian Hofmann-Jecke scored to the 2:4 for his team with a flicking ball. At the end of the match GER controlled the middlefield a little bit better and so the match, too. But the dutch striker stayed still dangerous, haded a few good goalchances. The final result off 4:2 for Dutchmen was probably correct. NED will play tomorrow the final of the tournament, Germany will play for the third place.
