Germany wakes up to late


Both teams started very concentrated, ESP with easy advantage. After eight Minutes the first chance for ESP, but without scoring. After that GER takes control of the game, playing wide on the left and right side. After 10 Minutes the first penalty corner for GER after a foul. The flick is stopped by a ESP defender. ESP failes very close with the follwing couter-attack. After a fine solo by Jorge Gabriel Dabanch ESP earns their first penalty corner, but the GER defense blocks the flick. The game is getting more offensive by both teams. After a fine solo by Javier Garcia the GER goalkeeper Zeno Lobe stops him with a great save. After 23 minutes goal for ESP. Agrat shot by Alex Casasayas finds its way in the Goal. The following short corner for GER brings no change in the score. GER is having tecnical problems in this phase of the game. ESP stays dangerous with their couter-attacks. The ESP defense is playing very concentrated, allowing only one chance for Bendikt Fürk in the 28th and one for Pit Arnold close to the half time, but both without result. The second half begins with great chance for GER Robert Marx. His shot is saved great by the ESP keeper. The following penalty corner for ESP brings the score to 2:0 for ESP. Marc Pujal with a flick. GER is disorientated inthe following minutes. ESP takes advantage of this situation and scores the decisive 3:0. Oriol Bach with the goal. In the following time GER gets one penalty corner, but without sucess. ESP is loosing concentration, having the three goal advantage and GER starts his las offensive. In the 65th minute Julian Hofmann-Jeckel scores after a penalty corner. And one minute later even the next GER goal, Benedikt Fürk score with a short distance shot. GER trys to draw the game, but without sucess. ESP wins merited, being the more dangerous team and stay in the race for the final on monday.
