Germany wins the U16 Tournament
GER started putting the NED defense under pressure. This leads to the first GER chance in the 2nd minute for Marco Mittkau, but his shot hits only the post. NED anwsers with Tim von Hout but he fails close to the GER goal. NED is playing defensive, waiting on the middle line. NED defense is now better prepared, the match is more balanced. Miltkau and Eltsholz with chances for Germany, and a post hitting penalty corner for NED, but no score. In the 10th minute Jonas Swiatek saves a shot from Wouter Stijl on the goal line. Then the first goal of the match. Fabian Eltsholz scores in the 14th minute for GER. Only one minute later Felix MEyer with the chance, but he fails in the one-on-one against the NED keeper Schouten Netten. NED playing on couter attacks, earning a penalty corner in the 20th minute, but without result, like the german penalty corner in the 23th minute. NED with a yellow card, but playing better in this period of the game. But the last pass in front of the Goal is not exact enough. Phillioe Gehringer saves apenalty corner. The NED pressure phase then ends and in the 32th minute it is Martin Müllerr to score the 2:0 goal for germany. The halft time lead is merited. GER is more dangerous in the circle. The second half begins with a chance for NED, Stein von der Heuvel misses. In the 42th minute the game deciding goal. Tobias Matania score for GER. GER the plays more defensive, waiting for couter attacks. NED now playing inthe GER half, but without result. A couter attack leads to a penalty corner for GER., which brings the score up to 4:0. Matthias Knüpfer scores. NED plays with great morale. Matin Havenga scores the first NED goal after a penalty corner in the 53th minute. Two more goals in the last ten minutes, 5:1 for GER scored by Matthias Knüpfer after penalty corner, and the 5:2 goal by Tim van Hout in the 69th conclude a great match in front of 1000 spectators, who saw a merited GER win.
