Germany's best match The german team reveched with a clear 7:3 victim against the english U 18 for the 2:1 defeat from friday. In the first 35 minutes the team from trainer Andreas Höppner could give a sedative 6:0 competitive edge and play the english boys on wall. After two minutes the German got a 7 m, which Tilman Häuser scored savetly. From the 4 th til 8 th min. A lot of german penalty corners (4) were shooted failed. There were seen partial good variations, but unsuccessful. In 10 th minute Julian Hofman-Jeckel could increase to 0:2 after a very good argentinian backhand in the left down corner. At that time the einglish defence only could react to the german superior number-attacks. England looked a little bit exhausted. In the 16. th minute Niklas Cartsburg increased to 0:3. Three minutes later Fabian Bauwens-Adenauer duped the english keeper and scored to the 0:4. " wake up" some english spectators cried to their U 18, which got the first penalty-corner at 25 th minute. Symptomatic was the swinging stick in that situation of the english panelty-corner-specialists. One minute after that Fabian Bauwens-Adenauer hitted again to 0:5. In 35. min. the german goaly Zeno Lobe could saved the second excellent chance for goal of England. With halftime-whistle Benedikt Fürk maked the goal to 0:6 with a wonderful flicking ball under the crossbar to a little surprising half-time-result. ![]() In second half enghlish team changed the enviable keeper. After two minutes in the second half he had to save a hugh possibilty by the german strikers. It tooked time till the 38. minute the english attacker scored with their second penalty-corner to 1:6. At once the players of the Isle pursued and failed a clearest chance allone in front of german box. The break-speech of rhe british teamcoach Charlie Bannister had operated transparently. England now played better and more aggresive than in the first half. The match beamed balanced out. At least in the 54. min. Patrick Heller could score after a nice combination the 1:7. The beginning frustration in the english team ended in a yellow card for Josh Mepham. The clearly result and the beginning rain effeccted, that in the last 15 minutes nothing spectaculars happend and both teams neutralizied themselves in the middlefield. In the last minutes the teams tried to change the result, but it didn t work. Two penalty-corner of the german team were without result. Two penalty-corner for England were be used better. One of these Edward Kelleher could score successful - 2:7 for Germany. At the end of game Joesph Finding maked the last goal to the end-result 3:7. On last tournament-day the german U 18 team played a cogently match. But it is obvious, that the Dutch and Spanish teams have been stronger and though the best teams qualified for the final. |
